Letter from Mr. Mardis

Welcome To

Coahulla Creek High School

Dear Parents and Students:

I am pleased to welcome you and your family to Coahulla Creek High School where our mission is to maximize student learning by providing challenging and engaging educational experiences in a safe and supportive environment.  The faculty and staff of CCHS are committed to providing our students with a high quality education in a loving, caring environment.  CCHS offers a wide variety of courses for all students so they are prepared for success in a global society.  Students can take AP, Honors, and College Prep Classes.  They can take courses at The Whitfield County Career Academy.  Students can enroll in college level courses to earn college credit while attending high school.  There are a variety of pathways students can take to earn their high school diploma.

For us to continue providing a high quality education in a caring, safe environment, we must have guidelines to follow.  This Student-Parent Handbook provides a description of simple guidelines that, if followed, will provide your student with a safe and orderly environment in which to work and learn.  Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the contents of the handbook as it provides some very useful information.

Meaningful communication is essential in building a strong partnership between home and school.  Parents are encouraged to visit or contact our school as often as possible.  For safety reasons, please be sure to check in at the front desk upon entering the building.

I look forward to a successful school year.

Respectfully,

Tracy Mardis
